Yes, we only use reputable and accredited compounding pharmacies for our ingredients. These infusions are administered by experienced registered nurses who are skilled IV specialists.
After consenting to treatment and taking a brief medical history, you can select an IV infusion from our menu. Intramuscular shots are also available. Once you are cleared by our medical director, an RN will provide your scheduled services. We will talk you through the entire process and answer any questions you may have. Your arm will be prepped in a sterile fashion, and an IV will be placed and secured. A normal IV bag takes about 60 minutes to complete. Once completed we will remove the catheter tube, cover the IV site, and have sign your treatment record. All of your consents and supplemental educational documents will be accessible to you in your client portal. It is that simple.
Most of our IV drips take 60 minutes. During this time you can relax, recline, read, listen to music on your headphones, and just take time for you. Once the treatment has started you can recline in one of our comfortable chairs or loungers and enjoy the benefits of vitamin therapy. You may experience a warm or tingling sensation in your arm, hands, chest, or abdomen while the IV is infusing. You may also have the sensation of tasting some of the vitamins and nutrients that are infusing in the IV fluids.
Side effects rarely happen, if at all. If side effects occur, they are usually minor and short lived. Bruising or bleeding at IV site, warming or cooling sensation in arm, chest or abdominal discomfort, tasting the vitamins during the infusion, or having changes in the color or smell of your urine. Allergic reactions may also occur. Our licensed staff are trained to manage all side effects that may occur.
This depends on client’s individual needs and treatments preferred. Both infusions and shots can be done weekly. We recommend monthly infusions in conjunction with weekly or bi-weekly booster shots. Some treatments, such as hangover relief, serve as a quick fix and are provided on an as needed basis. Intramuscular shots for energy and weight loss may be administered weekly or bi-weekly. We suggest speaking with one of our registered nurses to design a custom package best suited for your needs.
IV hydration goes straight into your blood stream, bypasses the GI tract, and 100% of the vitamins and nutrients are absorbed. Typically you will feel the effects within an hour of treatment. Some of our drip cocktails are designed for long term benefits and may not give you the immediate boost you are looking for.
There are a few medications that can interact with IV therapy. One of our experienced RNs on staff will conduct a thorough client history to ensure the drip of your choice is not only safe for you, but effective, with minimal interactions with your current medication regimen.
